Configure frontend listings submission

Posterno provides a frontend listing submission form from where your members can submit their listings. The submission form, by default has 2 steps:

  1. The user has to select a listing type.
  2. The user adds the details of the listing.

Addons and different settings configurations might change/add/remove steps to the listing submission form.

Example: if no listings types have been created, the user will not be required to select one.

Restrict access to submissions by user role

If needed, Posterno allows you to restrict access to the submission form to specific user roles on your website. To enable the option, navigate to "Settings -> Posterno -> Listings -> Submission" in your admin dashboard and locate the setting "Allowed roles" and select the roles you wish to have access to the form from the dropdown.

Restrict amount of gallery images users can upload

Another restriction that you can apply to submissions is the amount of uploadable images.

To enable the option, navigate to "Settings -> Posterno -> Listings -> Submission" in your admin dashboard and locate the setting "How many images?" and enter the amount of maximum images.

Redirect after successful submission

After successful submission, you might want to redirect users to a custom "thank you page" or any other page on your website.

To enable the option, navigate to "Settings -> Posterno -> Listings -> Submission" in your admin dashboard and locate the setting "Redirect after successful submission" and select the page where you wish to redirect your members.
