Profile custom fields
Posterno allows you to create custom fields for your members profiles.
To access the profiles custom fields editor, navigate to "Users -> Custom fields" in your WordPress admin panel.

Where do profile fields display:
All default WordPress users fields are automatically available within the account details section of the dashboard page. When you create custom profile fields, fields will display on:
- The account details section of the dashboard page.
- The fronted public profile page of your members.
- The user edit screen of the WordPress admin panel.
- The listing's author widget can display a list of custom fields that you can select.
Default WordPress users fields
Default fields can be customized and also displayed within the registration form. Upon installation, the profile fields editor will display a list of the default fields. Through the editor you'll be able to change the name, description, placeholders, requirement option and much more.
Note: default fields cannot be delete from the admin panel. Furthermore the field type and meta key setting cannot be changed.

Admin only fields
If you wish to hide some of the fields from the account customization form, click on the "Edit" button, then click on the "Permissions" tab and enable the option "Admin only".
Admin only fields will not be customizable from the account settings page.
Marking fields as required
Fields visibility
It is possible to collect data from your users and hide it from the public profile page. Click on the "Permissions" tab of a profile field and then set the "Visibility" setting to "Hidden".
