How to configure the pricing field type
Added in version 1.1.0 of Posterno, the pricing field type provides the ability to create a "price" type of field complete with currency symbol and custom formatting.
Setting up currency and formatting
In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Settings → Posterno → General → Miscellaneous to find all the settings related to the currency and the display of the prices on the frontend.
Prices must be saved with no commas and no symbols, with the exception of "dots" used to create decimals.
Valid example: 99.99
Invalid example: 99,99
Invalid example: £99,99
Posterno will then automatically format prices for display on the frontend.
When entering prices from the listing submissions form or from the account customization form, if the price is wrongly formatted, an error message will be displayed.
